I was able to get full internet connection, uploads are about half the speed as downloads (1.2 Gbs instead of the full 2gbs). using the usb-c connection on my mac. I tested a couple of cat 7 cables until I found one that could achieve the speed I needed. Plus, I tried the usb connection(using a USB dongle) on my Windows, but was only able to achieve around 500mbs. I believe this was due to the limitation of my usb port.

I was looking for an ethernet adapter for my Huawei Matebook, and I found this one. Great adapter, good looking, premium touch and feel, the LEDs color look cool when working.
